august

It's good to look back at our summer.  August was a busy month!  Some highlights include:
Baseball in the backyard, camping at Watkin's Glen State Park, visit to the Corning Museum of Glass, Seneca Lake, Ithaca and Buttermilk Falls, go cart rides, trip to BC for me and Abigail, my brother's wedding, lemonade stand and school preparation.  It was a great month filled with incredible memories.

may

Yes, I am SO behind in sharing my family's stories.  My camera is still very busy but so much of my time in front of the computer is being dedicated to my photography business.  I love what I do but am sad that this blog has been so neglected.  Thanks for continuing to stop by!

So, our May looked like this.  The start of warm weather.  So much time spent outside.  Playing soccer, gathering with friends and family, celebrating birthdays, Abigail's dance recital, school performances, field trips, pokemon, pulling weeds, eating strawberries.  It was a good month.

april

Our April highlights...

Nathaniel has gotten into The Hardy Boys series.  When hockey is on at the same time, he'll mute the game and listen to me read.
Nathaniel's class visited a sugar bush.
I photographed my first wedding of the year.
We visited family in London - went for a walk and enjoyed their wii.
Abigail and her best friend have been busy making homemade masks.
The hockey rink was dismantled.
We visited the CN Tower.
Popsicle season began.
The boys experimented with making carrot and apple juice.
Abigail turned 11!
Andrew visited Jesse's class and talked about being a physiotherapist.
We borrowed a friend's trampoline for the year.  Andrew spent the day dismantling it at their home and putting it up in our backyard.  It was so worth it!

easter 2013 part one

The beginning of our Easter weekend was beautiful.  And what a surprise to find no snow in Niagara!  We were outside for most of the day.

 Cedar plank Salmon for lunch!

Have I mentioned before that there is usually a lot of wrestling?

We continued the tradition of the kids hunting for hidden family members to find their Easter goodies.

The last two years Andrew has always hidden somewhere high (eg. the top of the tv antenna on the roof of the house and the top of the maple tree).  This year was no different.  He chose the top of the garage.

Then we walked to the park.

Sneaking some jelly beans from Oma.

 Thank you self timer!
